Oil and Gas
Oil and gas companies need to manage and control their operations while meeting
regulatory requirements of federal and local governments. CSWorks provides a method
of building a system tailored to the organizations' needs, providing a means for
monitoring and controlling the overall operation from a single location while connecting
all satellite and remote sites with secure and reliable networking technologies
(LAN, WAN and the Internet).
Open architecture HMI/SCADA framework enables our customers to integrate products
from different vendors to develop solutions that are a lot more flexible than those
built using monolithic systems. Open standards such as OPC, SQL, SOAP, HTTP protect
your investment in software and hardware against obsolescence that can come with
changes in the company structure, ownership or finances. To learn more about CSWorks

Support for different data sources
CSWorks allows data acquisition from a variety of PLCs, RTUs, DCSs using OPC (OLE
for Process Control) middleware. CSWorks also supports data acquisition from SQL
databases. For critical process control applications, system administrators can
configure redundant data servers. CSWorks-based solution allows large numbers of
I/O points and is capable of delivering up-to-date data to multiple, distributed
operators’ stations, bringing you faster, precise communication, and reliable warning
signs concerning pipeline leaks and other emergencies.
Web-enabled distributed operations
CSWorks is geared towards distributed solutions that enable monitoring and control
of multiple locations with one software system. Not only can you monitor and access
individual locations such as well heads, pumping stations or cooling towers, but
you can also control entire pipelines and plant operations across intranets via
wireless devices. CSWorks can operate in local area networks, intranets and the
Internet, while providing full security. To learn more about CSWorks distributed

The move from proprietary technologies to more standardized and open solutions together
with the increased number of connections between SCADA systems and office networks
and the Internet has made them more vulnerable to attacks. Designed with security
in mind, CSWorks operates on top of the standard, secure communication protocols
that guarantee data privacy and integrity. Client-server communications can be protected
by using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) - the de-facto standard for the protection of
online transmission of sensitive information. All communication channels between
data servers and data collection points can be secured using existing infrastructure
Flexible Alarming subsystem
System administrators can configure CSWorks alarming to scale out and to provide
redundancy. Alarm history can be saved in the database for the thorough off-line
analysis. Operators who work with Alarm Summary views can be configure them individually
according to their preferences. When acknowledging an alarm, operator can enter
a comment that will be stored in the alarm database together with other events.
Data archiving to SQL databases
CSWorks can save historical data to standard databases, including Microsoft SQL Server, mySQL,
Oracle and PostgreSQL.
Using standard corporate databases provides long-term maintenance, reporting and
retrieval throughout the retention period.
Real-time and historical data trends
Data collected from any remote or local data source can be quickly and easily visualized
in CSWorks Trend panel. Information from different data sources can be merged and
viewed on a single chart with powerful navigation capabilities. Operators can easily
export chart data to Excel (watch the educational video).
User access management
CSWorks-based solution can be integrated with existing web-based user access management
infrastructure, with a possibility to restrict access to specific screens and features
on a per-user basis. Server-side authorization mechanisms prevent unauthenticated
users from accessing the system, protecting the solution from sophisticated hacker
